Today there are fulfilled 30 years of the premature death of Félix Rodríguez of the Source. That's why, we want to be useful from here for honoring to his most well-known work of publication of the natural values of the Iberian mountainous ranges and the Spanish fields, "The Man and the Earth". Thanks to this series that revolutionized the television and up to the Spanish society, we could be present at the birth in our country of what now it is known as an ecological campaign to raise public awareness, or environmentalism.

Finally, after 14 episodes requested in Alaska and Canada, the series ended suddenly in the 1980 due to the death of Félix Rodríguez of the Source in plane crash in the middle of the shooting of one of the chapters. And what better way of honoring to this magnificent program and to his director, which to see again all the episodes of the mythical series.
